Buyer Inspections:
Congrats, your offer was selected! Now what? Nobody wants surprises upon move-in, so it’s important to have a professional home inspector evaluate the property & inform us on its condition. Together we’ll discuss the report and advise you on the best course of action.
Escrow:
Now it’s time for the paperwork! You and the seller will send all agreed-upon items to an escrow holder until all terms are met. Then, many signatures later, it’s closed! We’ll manage the entire process for you- communication between parties, keeping track of all deadlines and advising & advocating for you every step. You're almost there!
Closing:
Finally, the moment you’ve been waiting for! Get ready to celebrate. After you and the seller sign your closing statements, the house is officially yours! Welcome home. You belong here!

Mandy Draper:
"A ‘people person’, Mandy goes above and beyond what anyone would expect in a real estate agent. By the end of a transaction, her clients feel that they have received exemplary real estate representation and a life-long friend."
Daughter of a Builder: Mandy Draper was born in Santa Cruz, California and has lived in Santa Cruz County all her life. Every home Mandy ever lived in as a child was built by her father, a local general contractor and designer. The sounds and smells of her father's job sites - concrete, steel and sawdust - are some of her earliest childhood memories. Eventually Mandy worked alongside her father as a carpenter for his residential construction company. From these beginnings she developed a lifelong love for homes, architecture, quality construction and real estate.
Education & Careers in Construction Management and Engineering: Her passion for construction would lead her to pursue a B.S. in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University where she graduated, Summa Cum Laude, in 2009. After completing her studies, Mandy went on to enjoy a successful career in construction management for a San Jose-based construction company. She quickly rose to a Project Manager role where she specialized in tenant improvements for prominent Bay Area institutions including Google and Stanford University. She also tried her hand in design as a staff engineer for a local Geotechincal Engineering firm. In 2024 she obtained her Class B General Building Contractor license (#1117746) to expand the services Community Real Estate provides to our clients. Our team is now licensed to perform whole home renovations so, if you find a home in a great location with good bones, but you want to rework the floor plan and install new finishes, we can help you with that too!
A Meticulous, Detail-Oriented Real Estate Agent: A top-producing local agent specializing in residential sales, Mandy believes that she has found her true calling. A methodical, detail-oriented thinker with a knack for problem-solving, Mandy is the quintessential project manager. Her meticulous nature assures that no detail is overlooked. Mandy knows the area and market intimately and has the relationships, knowledge, and drive needed to achieve the best results for her clients.
Matt Draper:
"Matt offers his clients an unparalleled level of service which results in long-lasting relationships, repeat clients, and referrals. He looks out for his client’s best interests at all times."
Born & Raised in Scotts Valley: Matt Draper was born and raised in Scotts Valley. Having attended the long-standing Vine Hill Elementary & Scotts Valley Middle Schools, he’s a true Scotts Valley local. His parents’ involvement in the community and careers as realtors shaped Matt’s appreciation for Scotts Valley. It was this upbringing that cultivated a deep-rooted value of connection and community.
Education & Early Career in Finance: Matt received his bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly, SLO in business finance & appraisal. He went on to work in lending and finance management for a Bay Area startup. In the early 2000s Matt left his career to join the family real estate business where he excels, unsurprisingly, in the financial aspects of real estate.
A Knowledgeable & Passionate Real Estate Agent: Between Matt’s wealth of knowledge of the local community and background in finance, working in real estate comes naturally. With a plethora of personal insight into Scotts Valley’s desirable neighborhoods, award-winning schools, and diverse recreation areas, he’s the perfect area specialist. Matt offers his clients an unparalleled level of service which results in long lasting relationships, repeat clients, and referrals. Specializing in income properties, he is particularly talented in helping his clients build wealth and passive income through their real estate investments. Matt’s strategy is simple- he looks out for his client’s best interests at all times.
Sue Draper:
"Sue has made Scotts Valley her home since 1976- she has a deep, personal connection to the community. With her local knowledge, experience, and tenacious attitude, Sue has sold more Scotts Valley Real Estate than any other name in the business."
A Rich Family History in Developing Scotts Valley: Sue Draper grew up in Santa Cruz, CA and began working for her father’s real estate development company as soon as she turned 14. She loved learning everything, from land acquisition to design and marketing. After earning her license in 1973, Sue formed a particular interest in Scotts Valley as her father’s company was heavily involved in the town’s residential and public school development.
40+ Years in Scotts Valley Real Estate: In love with Scotts Valley, Sue & her late husband Lee purchased a home of their own in Scotts Valley. They raised their two children, Matt and Kelsey, who went through Scotts Valley’s public schools and sports programs. Lee decided to join Sue in real estate, and the pair built a highly successful career as the first team to ever specialize in Scotts Valley. Sadly, Lee passed away in 2009 at the age of 58.
A Knowledgeable, Experienced, & Caring Real Estate Agent: Sue is continually honored as one of Santa Cruz County’s top-producing realtors. She has over 44 years of local experience and has helped clients navigate the sale of their properties through countless real estate cycles and climates. She offers her clients a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of real estate including lending, appraisal, title & escrow, real estate investment, exchanges, building & development, and much, much more.

Kindergarten Farm Field Trip:
In the spring of 2019, we hosted a field trip for Scotts Valley kindergarteners at Bee Fruitful Farms. Our mission was to teach the importance of bees and other pollinators for a healthy ecosystem. The kids had a blast participating in various activities, including planting their own mini garden, playing a seed sorting game, hiking while learning about our unique ecosystem, and painting the bee-themed craft. What a blast!
Mother’s Day Brunch:
To celebrate and connect over motherhood, we hosted a Mother's Day brunch at the Bee Fruitful Farms. Dishes were served farm-to-table style, as they were prepared using crops grown at our community farm. It was a memorable day filled with lots of energy, relatable mom stories, and plenty of mimosas.
